We offer a variety of activities weekly at
Twin Oaks Villa Assisted Living so you
can socialize and have fun.
Twin Oaks Villa Assisted Living for Seniors offers an assortment of weekly and seasonal activities. On a weekly basis, we present religious services, ice cream socials, exercise classes, bingo, arts and crafts, manicures and snacks that offer an opportunity for spiritual growth, socialization, increased health and vigor, creativity, and beauty.
Everything from bingo to crafts.
Seasonal activities include the crowning of the Valentine’s Day King and Queen, a St. Patty’s Day Celebration, Annual Easter Egg Hunt, Annual Luau, a Fourth of July Picnic, the Fall Harvest Festival, and Christmas with Santa.
Our Activities Director has been
with Twin Oaks for six years!
We have many wonderful volunteers, including individuals, groups and churches. They add spice to life at Twin Oaks through Sing-a-Longs, Christmas gift giving, Pet Therapy, facials, and square dancers. We have a fantastic DJ who comes in out of the goodness of his heart and never fails to bring along his bubble machine.
Twin Oaks hosts a monthly Resident Council Meeting where residents are free to voice any input they have for improvement in our Activities or Dietary Departments. Our Activities Director has been with Twin Oaks for six years.
Dietary Department
The Twin Oaks Villa dining room is a
beautiful light-filled space with floor to ceiling
windows overlooking two courtyards.
The Twin Oaks dining room is a beautiful, natural light filled, spacious area with floor to ceiling windows overlooking the eastern and western courtyards. Meal time is a special social time for our residents and they often arrive early to begin enjoying each other and the atmosphere.
Twin Oaks offers three healthy, nutritious, home-cooked meals daily presented in two seatings. Special diets are accommodated.
Breakfast is "made to order" eggs over easy - or any way you please. Would you prefer a side of bacon or sausage this morning? Will you be having grits or cereal with your breakfast?
Lunch and dinner both offer a choice of main entrée, and are served to our residents at their table. There are no buffet lines at Twin Oaks. Twin Oaks serves a choice of iced or hot tea, coffee, pink lemonade, lemonade, fruit punch or water.
Wonderful holiday meals are a tradition
at Twin Oaks Villa Assisted Living
Tradition is important to us at Twin Oaks and we show it by presenting wonderful holiday meals on Christmas, Thanksgiving and the Fourth of July. We even throw in a few picnics from time to time. We enjoy serving our residents subs and pizzas from local vendors.
In addition to mealtime, residents look forward to an evening snack of milk and cookies served to them in their room each evening.
Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs)
Our CNAs are qualified, caring,
compassionate.
Our CNAs are qualified, caring and compassionate. Each CNA agrees to a pre-employment SLED background check, drug testing, and physical tests. Once employed by Twin Oaks Assisted Living for Seniors, our CNAs continue their education through a series of on-going In-Service Programs.
Med Techs
Our Med Techs are trained in the Opus
Medication Management System for
medication administration.
Our Med Techs are competent, concerned, and empathetic. They are trained through in-services in the Opus Medication Management System in affiliation with Preferred Care Pharmacy. Our Med Techs are CPR Certified and attend a variety of ongoing In-Service Training Sessions.
